Why we built this
Most cannabis platforms online were built for the US dispensary market — affiliate-driven, indica-vs-sativa filters, paid placements where reviews should be. None of that maps cleanly onto Canadian retail: provincial monopolies, Health Canada labels, regional craft brands, strain names that get rebranded between provinces.
Canadians deserved a tool built around the way Canada actually buys — not a US directory with a maple leaf on top. Blazed is that tool.
What we built instead

Indica and sativa are useful shorthand. Terpene profile is what actually drives the effect. Every Blazed product page surfaces the wheel — myrcene, limonene, pinene, caryophyllene, linalool — alongside the strain name. Find what hits by chemistry, not by ad copy.
04 · The hierarchy
Spinach is a consumer brand. Aphria Inc. is the licence holder. They're not the same row in your provincial database, and they're not the same row on Blazed.
