No. Blazed is a Progressive Web App — a website you can add to your phone's home screen so it behaves like a native app. No App Store, no Play Store, no install size, no updates to download. Open it in your browser, follow the steps on this page, and the icon lives next to your other apps.

Does it work on iPhone and Android?

Both. On iPhone or iPad, install from Safari using the Share button. On Android, install from Chrome (or Edge, Brave, Samsung Internet, Firefox) using the menu. Step-by-step instructions for each are on this page.

Why a Progressive Web App instead of a native app?

Most Canadian cannabis platforms can't justify shipping and maintaining three codebases — web, iOS, and Android — at the same quality bar. A PWA gives you about 95% of the native experience from one codebase, which means faster updates and more attention on the product itself. When the experience demands native, we'll build native. For now this is the right shape for both of us.

Will I get notifications?

Not yet. Push notifications are on the roadmap; once we ship them you'll see an opt-in prompt in the Blazed UI itself. We won't push anything you didn't ask for.

How do I uninstall it later?

On iPhone, long-press the icon and tap 'Remove App' → 'Delete Bookmark'. On Android, long-press the icon and drag it to 'Uninstall' (or tap 'Remove'). Nothing else has to be removed — there's no app footprint outside the home screen icon.
